Cancellation Policy - Leisure Bookings

Confirmation of booking:

At the time of booking you will be asked to confirm your booking in writing within 7 days or guarantee with a credit/debit card number.

Bookings made with less than 7 days notice require full pre-payment at the time of booking, by credit or debit card.

 

Cancellation:

If you are unable to take up your booking for whatever reason the following conditions apply.  We recommend you consider a cancellations insurance policy if there is any possibility you may be unable to take up your booking.

(In particular mid-winter weather can be difficult in the Lake District.)

 

Please note:  On cancelling a booking, the hotel will give you a cancellation number.  This is important as it is your record that a cancellation has been made and recorded.

 

1 – 8 weeks (4 – 8 weeks for special interest packages*) prior to arrival you will be charged 10% of the booking value.

7 days (28 days for special interest packages*) prior to arrival we reserve the right to make a cancellation charge of up to the total booking value.
