Ratchers Restaurant

The Ratchers Restaurant has an eclectic menu to suit a variety of tastes using, where possible, locally farmed produce.

Spread over three levels with views of the surrounding fells and the garden. The Restaurant is renowned for its informal atmosphere and service. In the evenings we offer an a la carte menu plus Special Boards with vegetarian options. Opening hours are 6pm-10pm. Families with young children are welcome to dine earlier if required. 

Our extensive wine list is updated every year to bring the best variety of fine wines. We also serve a large number of wines by the glass.

The Garden room

A truly opulent room offering a seating capacity of up to 120 people for a formal occasion and 150 people for an informal drinks or cocktail reception. The Garden room offers a sense of luxury and space with the benefit of magnificent views of the surrounding fells.

Lanty's Lounge   

A beautiful contemporary room featuring a Lakeland Slate fire place and elegant chandeliers. Lanty's Lounge can hold up to 50 people and lends itself  perfectly for that special dining experience.

The Libary

For those  intimate occasions for up to 24 people the libary makes the ideal choice. The room has access to its own private decked open balcony overlooking the lake.
