The Ullswater Walking Festival is organised by the Ullswater Association ~ www.ullswater.com
Following the success of the 2007 event
the above dates have been scheduled for 2008
The programme will include about three fully guided walks every day, evening entertainment, equipment demonstrations and leaflets for walks without guides.
Entertainment at the Hotel includes a lively local duo playing music form the sixties up to today in the Ratchers Tavern on Saturday 17th May from 9pm
Martin Varley is doing a speech on wild walking in the conference room at 8pm on Friday 16th May followed by an acoustic set of music from Gus in the Lantys lounge to finish a wonderfully relaxing evening
